Titz'n Glitz Bra Busters

Many like minded women and men have united, creating their own support line fundraisers to bring money to On The Front Line Society (breast cancer fund). While Titz'n Glitz funds patients across the province, funds raised in your health district, remain in your health district.

About the Bra Buster Awards:

Teams throughout the province can put their bra bustin’ spirit to work by competing with other groups. The teams that raise the most money are presented with our Bra Buster Awards - the Corporate and Community Cups - on stage the night of our Titz ’n Glitz event! Teams are also awarded sponsorship benefits based on the level of funds raised.

Please note: To be considered for the Bra Buster Awards, monies raised and the number of people in your Bra Buster group must be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to event night.

2011 Community Cups Award - Inveness Breast Fest

A BIG Titz Up thank you to Inverness Breast Fest on raising almost $4,500 with their annual ladies night and silent auction fundraiser. Another Bra Bustin’ success!

2011 Corporate Cups Award - Calla Lily hair and Esthetics

Congratulations to Calla Lily Hair and Esthetics on raising $1,100 with their inaugural "Head to Toe" fundraiser on Friday, October 28th.

2010 Community Cups Award - Island Breast Friends Committee

The Island Breast Friends Committee came together in 2010 to raise funds for Titz'n Glitz. The $10,000 proceeds will be used to assist breast cancer patients in Cape Breton.

2010 Corporate Cups Award - The Healthy Bug Natural Health Shoppe

The Healthy Bug Natural Health Shoppe in partnership with /Preferred Nutrition donated $2.00
from each bottle sold of WomenSenseTM products during October and November.

2009 Community Cups Award - Island Breast Friends Committee

The Island Breast Friends Committee came together in 2009 to raise funds for Titz'n Glitz. The $5,000 proceeds will be used to assist breast cancer patients in Cape Breton.

2008 Community Cups Award - Breastfest

Held October 2008, proceeds from the 6th annual Breastfest were directed to the On The Front Line Society (breast cancer fund). The $4,186.50 will be used to assist breast cancer patients in Cape Breton.

2008 Corporate Cups Award - Moksha Yoga Halifax

In 2008 Joanna Thurlow of Moksha Yoga Halifax issued a Yoga Challenge. Through their Karma classes and their 30 Day Challengers, they raised $2,700 for Titz'n Glitz. A BIG thank you goes out to this generous group.

2007 Corporate Cups Award 2nd Year in a Row! - Trax Construction Ltd. – over $8,600 raised!

In 2006 Paul Behner, President of Trax Construction Ltd. in Bedford decided he wanted to help breast cancer patients and came up with the “Boulder Holder Challenge”. He presented this idea to all of his colleagues in the construction industry and they supported it fully. Over the past two years the Boulder Holder Challenge has raised over $8,600 for breast cancer patients in financial need!!

2007 Community Cups Award - Breastfest

Held October 25th at the Inverness-ICCA Arts Centre, proceeds from the 5th annual Breastfest were directed to the On The Front Line Society (breast cancer fund). The $3,090.20 will be used to assist breast cancer patients in Cape Breton.

2006 Corporate Cups Award - Trax Construction Ltd. – over $5,000 raised!

2006 Community Cups Award - Margie Spencer – 60th Birthday Party

Margie Spencer was planning her 60th birthday party, but instead of receiving gifts, Margie asked her guests to make a donation. Her birthday party raised almost $500.00 for Titz’n Glitz!
