Doris
Mason
Doris has just returned from London, England after presenting "DRUM!"
in Trafalgar Square for Canada Day Celebrations. She has been vocalist,
pianist and musical director of this Nova Scotian Cultural Spectacle
since it's inception in 1999. Doris has been featured on the "Mrs.
Greenthumb Show”, “Hallelujah!," Vicki Gabereau",
ATV's "Breakfast Television” as well as CBC's "Radio
Noon". Her CD “Photograph” garnered her an ECMA nomination.
Mason recently performed to sold out audiences with her Ella Fitzgerald
tribute “ELLA-VATION”. Look for her holiday CD “Christmas

Velvet Burlesque
With their
diverse group of highly talented performers, Pink Velvet Burlesque has
been painting the city of Halifax "hot pink" (not red) since their very
first show in early 2006. These lovely ladies and gentlemen perform
a plethora of acts ranging from classical and neo burlesque, vaudeville
& comedy, singing, belly dance, fire eating, performance art and more!

Carr - Event Artist
A
well-known Nova Scotia artist, Holly hand uses silk canvas as her medium.
Her vivid paintings are alive with satire, brilliant colour, pure joy
and imagination. Holly has toured with story teller Stuart McLean of
CBC's Vinyl Cafe, performed on stage with the Ottawa Philharmonic and
has traveled to Singapore to paint before their president! During the
gala, Holly will capture the event by creating and donating for auction,
a spectacular one-of-a-kind piece, incorporating images of the Titz’n
